1.We would not consider a study phase of the project first and after the full project scope, a second fee for preparing the Bid Docs.
2.A Library Consultant has been hired by the Library( the Consultants Report is part of the supporting documents) and will continue in this capacity for the duration of the project. She is not included in the A/E team.
3.The Belmont building was purchased for $2.8 mm. This leaves $3mm of the bond to renovate and outfit the Library. There is also grant and private fundraising, but that number is not yet available.
- Yes, we are assuming standard design phases. The cost estimates should be as accurate as possible.
5.Some street access is required as part of the project. Other changes to the parking and site are not anticipated, unless a design team can present an interesting justification for doing so. We acquired the Loading Dock in hopes of an exterior green space, subject to the recommendation of the selected firm.
6.Construction bidding and construction schedule are both still under review.
7.We are looking for a base proposal with an add option for the liquor store space.
