Important Dates

Rhode Island Statewide Primary – Tuesday, September 13
Register to Vote Deadline: Sunday, August 14 at 4PM
Mail Ballot Application Deadline: Tuesday, August 23 at 4PM

Rhode Island General Election – Tuesday, November 8
Register to Vote Deadline: Sunday, October 9 at 4PM
Mail Ballot Application Deadline: Tuesday, October 18 at 4PM

**All Applications must be received by 4PM on the date listed, not postmarked.

Voting Methods

There are three ways to vote in this election: Early at your city or town hall, from home with a mail ballot, or at your polling place on Election Day. This was thanks to the Let RI Vote Act that was passed in June. You can read more about that on the Governor’s press release here.
