Thanks to the GFWC- Women’s Club of South County and their continued support of libraries and reading for children and young adults.
In honor of National Library Week (April 4-10), the Women’s Club of South County donated 20 books that centered around our need for titles with strong women characters and a with a theme of diversity.
Come by and take a look at our GFWC display in the YA section (located adjacent to the DVDs) and the Children’s Section (in the Quiet Study room). A special thanks goes to Wakefield Books and Sue Amoruso for their help with this project.
If you want to place a hold on any of these books or if you simply want to read more about a specific title, please click on the title that interests you!
