On Saturday July 18th at 10am, children ages 3-7 are invited to hear the story “Doug the Dove” from local author Michelle Tremont! We will even get to meet a real bird! Learn about the journey of Doug, a domestic, white dove with an important job—flying free when couples say “I do.” But when a gust of wind separates Doug from the other birds during a wedding at Sandy Shores Beach Club in Rhode Island, Doug ends up lost, alone, and facing the wild world for the first time. Come join our Summer Reading program this year! Children ages 3-17 may register in person and pick up a tracker now through July 25th. Tracking and prize redeeming continues through August 15th for those registered!
